Strengthening coordination and data harmonisation through an EEG101 STSM

Anne-Sophie Dubarry completed a Short-Term Scientific Mission at the University of Leeds, bringing the EEG101 Chair and Vice-Chair together to align strategic priorities and advance Working Group 2 activity on data curation and harmonisation.

Aligning coordination with technical collaboration

The mission brought together the EEG101 Chair and Vice-Chair to align Grant Period 1 priorities, prepare the framework for Grant Period 2, and strengthen coordination across the Action. It also supported Working Group 2 activity by connecting discussions of EEG data curation and harmonisation with Research Software Engineering perspectives on scientific software, interoperability, and data standardisation.

Key outcomes

  • Strategic alignment on Grant Period 1 priorities and preparation for Grant Period 2
  • Engagement with Research Software Engineering teams on scientific software, interoperability, and data standardisation
  • Creation of the EEG101 YouTube channel and curation of the first WG2 Virtual Symposium playlist
  • Initial drafting of a position paper on standardisation, ethical frameworks, and open science

Extending the collaboration

The visit established a basis for continued work on open and interoperable EEG research practices. The planned follow-up links scientific, coordination, and software-development work across the network.
